All great, great food, very friendly staff, couldn't fault anything.

Check the roof, noisy attic, mind you it was windy out.

The room was impeccable: the bathroom was very clean and fresh, and the beds and bedding were pristine. It felt cosy, warm and welcoming. We also had a lovely table in the dining room, the lobsters were an unexpected treat, and the wine list was excellent. I'm gluten free and there were plenty of options, I also tried the Errigal gluten-free beer which was so good I bought some to take home. The views and location are sublime - even a one-night stay feels like holiday.

This is just a suggestion: could you please register the hotel phone number on Whatsapp? That way we can call you from Northern Ireland for free. And another little recommendation: the promise gluten free bread is a good range, and it freezes well as individual slices, so it might be a better choice than the GF bread you have in stock. Just a suggestion, as I was delighted all round.

Very comfortable beds, great ambience, food was delicious. Fabulous location to local pubs and restaurants . The staff were so accommodating, nothing was a bother and they were very pleasant

Lovely staff, friendly and obliging. Clean, comfortable, good breakfast. Did not eat in restaurant but was very busy which is a good sign. And the bonus of an onsite brewery!

Our stay was excellent. From the minute we walked through the door we were greeted by friendly staff and informed of everything we would need. The rooms were spotless and had everything we needed and with a panoramic view of the bay it was just perfect. Bathroom & shower were very good & all the little soaps & shampoo were a nice touch. We ate in the restaurant and had 4 different starters and main courses. Everything was perfect & really well cooked. Personally I had the seafood gratin to start & I think it’s the best starter I’ve ever had. Top class 10/10 We retired to the bar afterwards were we were entertained by local trad group and two local champion dancers put on a superb performance. We ended the night at the Christmas party disco in the function room and retired to bed in the wee hours. Breakfast was another great experience. We had a window seat with a lovely view over the bay. Breakfast is made to order & it was beautiful. So nice to get your breakfast presented instead of picking through a buffet of overcooked food. Extra coffee & toast was delivered with the same great service we received from start to finish. Caisleáin Óir has been on our list to visit for quite a while and we will be back again very soon. Well done all the staff & management.

If I had one very small criticism it would be that the breakfast is not served in the restaurant instead of the bar & lobby.
